ABM Industries Overnight Floor Tech in Atlanta, Georgia

Overview

Seeking an experienced floor tech for a full-time overnight position in an office environment. Job duties include floor buffing and scrubbing, stripping and waxing, baseboard cleaning, marble floor polishing, elevator floor polishing. MUST have experience with floor buffing machines and chemicals. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Work schedule is 7pm to 4am Monday-Thursday and 7am to 4pm on Sunday mornings. Pay Rate is $16.20/hr.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available

• No experience required and on the job training provided

• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience

Floor Technician experience

• 1 year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Completes assigned stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning of floors.

  • Assists with special projects within the account as needed. Willing to complete other duties as assigned.

  • Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities

  • Responsible for using safety measures in work areas.

  • Assists in emergencies as needed.
